This project recognizes the efforts to rescue and preservation of watersheds in Costa Rica. Hotel Palya Espadilla got this badge for the research project togetherwith students from the University of San Isidro Labrador in the micro-basin known as ”Shrimp Quebrada” natural boundary between our Wildlife Refuge and National Park Manuel Antonio . Note that the beaches to which guests have access to all have the Blue Flag award, guaranteeing pure in their waters, namely: North Beachand Playa Espadilla. In Costa Rica, The conduct code is a project of the tourism industry which is supported by the Foundation Paniamor, along with the Association of TourOperators Costa Rica (ACOT), The Association of Tourism Professionals (ACOPROT), World Vision Costa Fundecooperación funded Rica and The Costa Rican Institute of Tourism.
The Hotel Costa Verde signed on August 28, 2010, the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents Against Commercial Sexual Exploitationin Tourism, with a strong commitment to prevent sexual exploitation of childrenand adolescents in the area Quepos and Manuel Antonio.
